Autumn Light

on
Late afternoon rain.
After it ended, the last rays of the setting sun warmed the trees,
bronzed the heliotrope,
illuminated the jasmine,
and set the leadwort aglow.
I stayed cosy inside my messy house.

    In Japan, autumn is called the season for reading. Makes sense. I can't think of a better time to curl up with a great book and a hot pot of tea. Tomorrow morning I cancelled my morning classes so I can do that. Jean-Pierre ps. Beautiful photos!

    It's not messy - it's creative space! I love fall so much. Wish it lasted much longer! (Though maybe not so much rain...)
