Your beautiful picture shows why so many people are protesting in Vancouver right now outside while hearings for the Northern Gateway Oil Pipeline go on inside. Can you imagine this wonderful environment coated in a layer of thick, crude oil? It could very likely happen if Harper gets his way and rams through the pipeline. It scares me because there is SO MUCH money and political power behind the project. I'm really, really praying that the forces of nature and sanity win this battle. Too much in our world has been given up to quick profits and wasteful living. ps. Harper! You are a loser!
