A 3 Hour Cruise, Lasqueti Style

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship.

We departed from Scottie Bay, passing Kenny's place on the left...

...and a visiting tub on the right.

We passed an eagle's nest...

...and caught a rock cod.

We threw it back in.

We passed a group of sealions, taking a break from feasting on a record sockeye run.

No phone, no lights no motor cars,
Not a single luxury,
Like Robinson Crusoe,
As primitive as can be.

  3. Hi, great pictures! Simple living? I can relate since my electrical power has been out for an hour. No lights, no fridge, no stove, no WATER, no nothing. Simple is good. We take everything for granted and it's good sometimes to be reminded of what's really important. I thought it was interesting that I clicked on your blog at this time, on my battery powered computer...
