Heather has been in an accident...

To friends of Heather aka True Stitches:

Heather was involved in a cycling accient last Wednesday. Luckily she was wearing her helmet and this took the brunt of the damage, however Heather has a damaged C1 and compressed T5-7 vertabrae. She faces a lenghty hospital stay depending on her recovery time.

She is in 6 North at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC under her married name "Gregson".

I can give your more details via my email rocker1@telus.net

Thanks

Ian

  2. Please give Heather my love and let her know she's in my prayers and good thoughts.
Can I send a card to her at the hospital? Is there a postal code or something I need on the address? (I'm in the United States and am not terribly familiar with Canadian mail.)
Heather doesn't really know me, I'm just a reader of her blog. My name is Anne.

Oh - how horrid! I just found True Stiches (thanks to Art for Housewives), and I very much enjoy Heather's posts. Please wish Heather a speedy recovery from someone who would have lurked for quite a while before she got the nerve to comment.

  7. Oh, I'm sorry for Heather. Please tranfer to her my get-well-soon wishes.
She does not know me. I drop into her blog once in a while for her craft. Being a cyclist myself I didn't know she is one.
